    Idioms that Imply “someone who tells lie”

    Full of shit: it means “full of lies”

    E.g. You’re full of shit, you liar! You are so full of it!

    Lies like a rug: means “tell lies shamelessly”

    E.g.  I don’t believe her. She lies like a rug.

    Lies as fast as a dog can lick a plate.

    E.g. She will lie as fast as a dog will lick a dish.

    Crooked as a barrel of fish hooks or crooked as a dog’s hind leg: means “very dishonest”

    E.g. Don’t play cards with him. He’s as crooked as a barrel of fish hooks.

    Barefaced liar: means “One who tells blatantly obvious and/or impudent untruths easily and with little or no attempt to disguise the lie”

    E.g. Everyone knows he is just a barefaced liar. It’s a wonder anyone believes a thing he says anymore.

    Lie through teeth: means “to lie boldly”

    E.g. I knew she was lying through her teeth, but I didn’t want to say so just then.
