Fluent Land Community (referred to in this document as “FLC” and “We”) takes your privacy seriously. FLC is committed to safeguarding your privacy, and this privacy policy explains our data collection, use, and disclosure practices for the FluentLand: Learn English Free App (referred to in this document as the “Application” or the “App”). FLC stores and collects this information so that FLC can provide you with the Service and offer personalized features.

FLC does not monitor the information you include in your Profile, but FLC shall have the right (but not the obligation) in its sole discretion to cancel your Profile/Service, if it violates the TOS, the rights of third parties or it is otherwise objectionable. FLC receives and records information from your device, including your IP address, FLC cookie information, software and hardware attributes, and the page you request. FLC uses information for customizing the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our Services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal purpose and external clients.

When you access our Website or App, our servers automatically record information that your browser or device sends whenever you visit a Website or use the App. These server logs may include information such as your Web request, your progress in the App, your device details (like device id, configured email ids on device, etc.), the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.

We may use the contact information provided by you to communicate with you, informing you about your account and security updates. We may also use your information to send you password reminder and registration confirmation, special offers, newsletters, etc.

We gather information about all of our users collectively, such as what areas users visit most frequently and what services users access the most. Such data is used anonymously and in the aggregate. Learn English with Fluent Land App requires your permission to access the following:

Camera – to capture and set the image as your profile picture
Contacts – to allow you to know which friends of yours are also using the App
Microphone – to allow you to access the speaking exercises
Storage – to upload the image to set as profile picture and download the audio files
SMS – to allow you to invite your friends to use the App. SMS will only be sent with your consent and may be chargeable as per the rates set by your service provider

Please note that all your information will be saved at our server and We will not share this information with any third party without your authorization or unless necessary by law.

USER-GENERATED CONTENT

User-generated content refers to any non-personal data that you, the User creates while using the application. In the App environment, this includes the audio recordings and text generated by you. We use such data to improve the Product, conduct assessments, and recommend further practice to you. We also use such data anonymously to provide conversational practice to other users.

COOKIES

A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a Web site’s computers and stored on your computer’s hard drive. ACCESSING, REVIEWING AND CHANGING YOUR PROFILE

Following registration, you can review and change the information you submitted during registration. If you change any information, We may keep track of your old information. You can change your registration information such as: name, address, city, state, zip code, country, phone number, and profile.

We will retain in our files information you have requested to remove for certain circumstances, such as to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our terms and conditions. Further, such prior information is never completely removed from our databases due to technical and legal constraints, including stored ‘back up’ systems. Therefore, you should not expect that all of your personally identifiable information will be completely removed from our databases in response to your requests.
